Data collected
Server logs
The web server automatically records, for each HTTP request, the IP address, user-agent, requested URL, and timestamp. This data is necessary to ensure the security and proper operation of the site (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest). Logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days and are not shared with any third party.
Analytics
TechMonk uses Plausible Analytics in self-hosted mode. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect IP addresses, does not fingerprint browsers, and does not transfer data to third parties. Statistics are aggregated and anonymized: no individual visitor can be identified. No user consent is required for this tool.
Cookies
The site does not use tracking or profiling cookies. It does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tools. If technical cookies (e.g., for language preference) are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated before they are activated.
Transfers outside the EU
None. The site infrastructure and the Plausible instance run on servers under the controller’s direct control.
Your rights
Under Arts. 15–22 GDPR, you have the right to:
- access the personal data concerning you;
- request its correction or deletion;
- object to processing or request its restriction;
- request data portability.
To exercise any of these rights, write to mail@techmonk.red. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
